my name is nicole and i did my undergraduate degrees (c’26) in mathematics and computer science at yale university, where i was kindly advised[1] by professors ben fisch, dan spielman, and yang cai.

i am interested in statistical learning, algorithmic game theory, and a world where technology is safe, helpful, and ethical.

i am currently taking a gap year from 2026-2027; later, i hope to apply to phd programs and/or become a professional researcher.

i started my internet journey making html layouts for an online horse game before abandoning my web dev dreams. after a decade of instagram, i moved to a very academic jekyll template and microblogged unsuccessfully before building a beautiful website that broke on any device other than my own[2]. after being too embarrassed to ever share it, i renounced the chains of css and arrived here.
