• oct 2026 – in london/at LISA as an operations & comms associate for arcadia’s alignment research team. hoping to learn lots by osmosis :3

• jun-sept 2026 – in the UK as a visiting researcher! this was utterly awe inspiring and life changing. so, so grateful for the kind people who supported me this summer.

• jun 2026 – SPAR paper on behavioral and mechanistic interpretability for detecting backdoors in LLMs accepted as a virtual poster to 2026 ICML mechinterp workshop!

  • read part 1 of the accompanying lesswrong post, written by anthony

• april 2026 – completed my math senior thesis, which conducts a distance analysis on the RAA error correcting code over large finite fields

  • took an unconventional (and perhaps not recommended) probabilistic approach here. this yields some very nice and intuitive proofs, e.g. showing the weight-randomized RA code does indeed outperform the binary RA code without IOWE obscura, but is weak when it comes to concatenating accumulation stages. also crammed writing this until the deadline, so not my greatest writing…
